BNP Releases Initial Candidate List for 237 Constituencies; Khaleda Zia, Tarique Rahman Included
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) released a list of potential candidates for 237 parliamentary constituencies ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. However, the list notably does not include the name of the party’s prominent leader, Barrister Rumin Farhana. The initial candidate list was finalized earlier in the day during a Standing Committee meeting led by the party’s Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman.
