Eight Years Strong: Bangladesh Cricket Star Taskin Ahmed Celebrates Anniversary with Family
Bangladesh’s pace bowling sensation, Taskin Ahmed, and his wife, Syeda Rabeya Naima, are celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary! The cricket star, known for his active presence on social media, shared a heartfelt message and requested blessings from his fans.
Taskin posted an endearing family photograph on his official Facebook page today (October 31st) around 11:54 AM. The photo features Taskin, his wife Rabeya, and their three children gathered around an anniversary cake.
Taskin captioned the picture: “MashaAllah. Please keep us in your prayers, everyone.”
Decade of Partnership
This is Taskin’s second post commemorating the milestone. In an earlier post around midnight (12:16 AM), which featured only the couple and the cake, the 30-year-old pacer wrote a touching tribute to his spouse:
Taskin wrote: “You have held my hand through every moment of life. Happy Anniversary, Syeda Naima Rabeya.”
Taskin and Syeda Rabeya Naima tied the knot on October 31, 2017. They are now blessed with three children: two daughters and one son.
• Their first child, son Tashfin Ahmed Rihan, was born on September 30, 2018.
• The couple welcomed two daughters in subsequent years, in 2022 and 2023.
Juggling Family Life and Cricket
Taskin, who often shares emotional posts on social media for his wife’s birthday as well (most recently on August 8th with a picture on a cruise ship), is currently focused on his professional commitments.
The star pacer is presently busy with the series against the West Indies, having played in both T20 Internationals. With an 11-year international career, Taskin has amassed 106 wickets in 85 T20Is with an impressive economy rate of 7.68.
