Foreign Affairs Advisor Touhid Hossain Stresses Mideast Peace, Invites Bahraini Foreign Minister to Dhaka

Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the Middle East during a bilateral meeting with the Bahraini Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on Saturday.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue in Bahrain. This information was shared in a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (November 2nd).

Bilateral Discussions and Regional Praise

During the meeting, Hossain praised Bahrain’s constructive leadership and its efforts toward regional coordination and dialogue among states.

• Cooperation: Touhid Hossain stated that Bangladesh is ready to strengthen cooperation and promote mutual interests between the two countries.

• Invitation: The Foreign Affairs Advisor expressed interest in hosting the second phase of the political consultation meeting in Dhaka and extended an invitation to the Bahraini Foreign Minister to visit Bangladesh.

Touhid Hossain is participating in several events alongside the sessions of the 21st Manama Dialogue, where world leaders, foreign ministers, and policymakers from various countries will discuss regional and international security challenges.
