The plane barreled across a commercial area and a road near the airport on Tuesday, resulting in a massive fire and sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Videos circulating on social media showed flames still burning from the wreckage.

• Fatalities and Injuries: Jonathan Bevin, Public Relations Officer for the Louisville Airport, confirmed the deaths of four people. Additionally, eleven people were injured in the accident. Bevin stated that many of the injured were in critical condition and had been transported to local hospitals.

• Flight Crew Status: The condition of the aircraft’s flight crew remains unknown.

• Identification: Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear stated that authorities are working to identify the deceased and notify their families.
